Experience

I have 18 years of teaching experience in Florida. I have taught regular education, ESOL, Gifted and Talented Students, and Students with special needs.

Teaching style

I teach using the workshop model. I tend to sprinkle in a little daily 5 and cafe to my teaching. I follow Marzano's framework for instructional teaching and the Science of Reading.

My own education history

I have an elementary education degree from the University of Central Florida and a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida. I have my Literacy Micro Credentials from the University of Florida.
