About the store
Welcome to 3D Designs & Lessons by HappilyEver3DMaker! (Just joined 2026!! Follow ME) I create engaging, hands-on engineering projects that blend 3D design, problem-solving, and creativity for middle and high school students. My lessons are built to help students move beyond following steps and into thinking like engineers, planning, testing, revising, and improving their ideas. With 17+ years experience in classroom-based making and engineering challenges, my resources emphasize: Real-world design thinking Student creativity and choice Problem Based Learning Engineering Design Process Clear structure with room for innovation Practical projects that work with or without advanced equipment Many lessons incorporate 3D modeling, prototyping, and engineering challenges, but they are written to be flexible for different classroom setups, whether you have a full makerspace or limited materials. My goal is to help teachers confidently bring Engineering, STEM, and design-based learning into their classrooms, while keeping students engaged, motivated, and proud of what they create. ✨ Designing Imagination Through Engineering ✨ In addition, I've added Faith-Based Lessons that I incorporate into my Youth Sunday School Class. About Me.... I started out as an engineer in the field, solving real-world problems hands-on. But it was my deep-rooted passion for STEM—especially the “E” in Engineering, that pulled me into the classroom, where I discovered the magic of blending creativity with critical thinking to inspire the next generation. As the demand for Career & Technical Education (CTE) continues to rise, I’m on a mission to make Engineering downright exciting! Whether you're stepping into the classroom for the first time or have years of experience, my resources are built to support you in making STEM exciting, accessible, and impactful.

Teaching style

My teaching style is rooted in curiosity, creativity, and connection. I believe students learn best when they’re actively engaged, so I design lessons that are hands-on, inquiry-driven, and grounded in real-world relevance. Whether we’re building prototypes, solving design challenges, or exploring the “why” behind the math, I strive to create a classroom culture where questions are celebrated, mistakes are part of the process, and every student feels seen and supported. I blend structure with flexibility, encouraging collaboration while fostering independent thinking. Ultimately, my goal is to help students build confidence in their abilities and see themselves as capable problem-solvers and future innovators.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Throughout my career, I’ve pursued professional growth with purpose and passion, earning a diverse array of certifications and recognitions that reflect my deep commitment to STEM education. I hold a BS in Materials Science Engineering from the University of Kentucky, along with dual master’s degrees in Teaching Math and Teaching Science. I’ve achieved Rank 1 status in Engineering Technology and earned specialized certifications in GIS, UAS Drone piloting, Autodesk Inventor and Fusion 360, and more. As an AOPA Certified Aerospace Educator, PLTW-certified and dual credit instructor across multiple Engineering disciplines, I bring a rich blend of technical expertise and classroom experience to every lesson. My work has been featured in TeachEngineering, and I continue to contribute to curriculum development through research partnerships with the J.B. School of Engineering at the University of Louisville. These accomplishments fuel my mission to create transformative, hands-on learning experiences that empower both students and educators to thrive in STEM. Teach Engineering Links to Lessons: 1.
