13 Colonies Fill in the Blank Posters (Printable or Digital)
EDITABLE ON CANVA or PRINTABLE FILE or DOWNLOAD as a Powerpoint or Google Slide. This product includes one page per colony. All 13 American Colonies are included. Students research the colonies using textbooks, non-fiction books, and websites or other materials you provide. Then they fill in the blanks with notes and phrases. These posters can be used in small groups or for individual students to complete independently. They make a quick and easy display for your Social Studies bulletin board.

This is a way to do the "word squares" from the CA Treasures Program for upper grades. There is a space for the word, definition, examples, illustration, and other (antonyms, synonyms, non-examples, questions, etc.) You can make copies and turn this into a vocabulary book for each unit.

Hi! Welcome to my store! I've been teaching in Los Angeles, CA for the past 20 years. I have taught 3rd - 5th grade. Currently, I'm teaching 5th graders!
Teaching style
I like working with children and giving them opportunities to learn, think, and be creative. I love to teach using hands-on methods, technology, and collaborative projects. I have high expectations and believe that all students have the potential to be awesome! I hope to teach my students how to be kind, thoughtful, and independent young students.
My own education history
I attended California State University, Northridge in CA where I earned my BA in Liberal Studies. I have a CA Teaching Credential and a Masters in Eduction in Curriculum and Instruction.
Additional biographical information
I love to read, garden, take photos, cook, paint, and learn about new technology. I have 2 children and love spending time with my family.
