About the store
I have been teaching for 12 years. I started out teaching Pre-K, then moved to 1st grade, then taught 4th grade math and I now currently teach 3rd grade math. . I think teaching in a variety of grade levels has made me a better teacher. It helps to see what the world is like in other grades. I LOVE 3rd grade math. Math is all around us in the world and it's fun to teach my students real life ways to do math.

3rd Grade Math Performance Indicators (c-scope aligned)
These perfomance indicators/ quizzes can be used to assess place value and addition and subtraction. These are aligned with the TEKS and c-scope curriculum but also would fit in well with the common core standards.
These are not limited to only assessment. They can be used for homework, enrichment, extra practice, etc.
There are two separate place value performance indicators and one for addition and subtraction.

Teaching style
I believe in giving students a wide variety of activities to help them learn. I teach math which leads nicely to hand-on and interactive activities. I love my Smart board and couldn't function without it! Technology is a big part of my classroom.
My own education history
My undergrad is in Early Childhood development and I have taught on both ends of my certification! I also have a master's degree in Educational Administration.
