Research Organizer 2
This is an organizer students can use to create driving research questions related to the topic of focus. Once students have created their questions, there is a section for students to write the information they have collected. After information has been collected, students will use this information to make inferences based off the information collected for each driving questions. This template could be used in any class or for any research assignment.

Plot Analysis is a skill that students really struggle with. This organizer helps to break the skill down and creates a visual flow to conflict and how it impacts the plot.

Fiction During Reading Spinner
We use this anytime we read fiction text. It includes a number of deeper questions that force the students to analyze the text they are reading. The students use this as a spinner in my classroom, but it could be used with dice as well since each pie slice has a number. They spin or roll the dice and answer the questions as a table. After discussing with their table, they share aloud.
