About the store

Experience

I solve creative and emotional overload by giving people a simple, structured way to reset through art. Two decades of teaching visual arts, SEL, and creative wellness — from preschool classrooms to high school studios, Montessori environments to community colleges. I've taught in public schools, alternative education settings, and everywhere in between. PreK–12, all media, all learners.

Teaching style

My approach draws on years of SEL practice, mindfulness training, and experience working with diverse learners across every kind of classroom and community setting. I meet students where they are — whether a preschooler in a Montessori environment, a high schooler who thinks they "can't do art," or a burned-out teacher who's forgotten they're allowed to create. The goal is always the same: a space where everyone feels capable, calm, and seen.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I don't have a shelf of trophies. What I have is a folder of handwritten letters from students — written on notebook paper during Teacher Appreciation Week, slipped under doors, handed to me on last days of school. One of my favorites ends with: "I am 100% certain that I am not the only student that feels this way. PLEASE keep doing what you're doing." So I am.
