Teaching style

Learning Spanish doesn't have to be boring or difficult! OohLaLlama believes that second language learning should mirror the way in which people learn their first language: lots of engaging comprehensible input, meaningful repetition, and high frequency vocabulary. All lessons and resources are aligned with ACTFL's proficiency guidelines and designed with young learners in mind.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Laura Nicholas was selected as an Exemplary Teacher in the School District of Philadelphia. She now teaches K-8 Spanish at one of the two demonstration schools in Philadelphia.
