About the store

Experience

I am a dedicated school based occupational therapist with multiple years of hands-on sensory integration and classroom experience supporting students of diverse learning needs. I’ve taught across multiple grade levels, created differentiated materials, and developed resources that make learning engaging, accessible, and meaningful. My school based experience has shaped every product I create — each one is designed to be practical, easy to implement, and supportive of both teachers and students.

Teaching style

My teaching style is rooted in understanding the whole child. I believe every student deserves tools that allow them to feel regulated, focused, and confident in the classroom. I use a collaborative approach that blends sensory integration strategies with practical, classroom-friendly supports. My resources are designed to help teachers create learning environments where students can build independence, emotional awareness, and success at their own pace.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My most meaningful teaching moments come from the relationships built along the way. I’ve been fortunate to receive heartfelt shout-outs from parents who’ve seen their children gain confidence, independence, and emotional regulation skills they once thought were out of reach. Co-workers have recognized my commitment to collaboration, creative problem-solving, and bringing calm, sensory-friendly strategies into even the most challenging environments. As a fieldwork supervisor, I’ve had the honor of supporting emerging OTs, earning recognition for guiding students with a balance of compassion, high expectations, and hands-on learning. But above all, my favorite moments are the countless “little victories” — a student identifying their feelings for the first time, a successful transition without tears, a quiet high-five after a tough day, or a child proudly using a new regulation tool independently. These small wins may seem simple, but they are the moments that light up my work and remind me why I’m so passionate about what I do.

My own education history

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Gannon University, where I built a strong foundation in human development, wellness, and therapeutic principles. I continued my education at Gannon University, completing my Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy with a focus on client-centered, evidence-based practice. Following graduation, I went on to teach in the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) program at Penn State University, where I had the opportunity to support and mentor future practitioners. These experiences ultimately led me to my work as a school-based occupational therapist, where I apply my academic training and teaching background to support students in meaningful, functional ways every day.

Additional biographical information

Outside of being an occupational therapist, I’m first and foremost a dad doing my best to raise good humans. Parenthood has given me a deeper appreciation for patience, empathy, and celebrating the small moments — qualities that spill over into my work every day. In the school setting, I’m passionate about helping students feel seen, valued, and celebrated for exactly who they are. My goal is always to help each child become the best version of themselves, one regulated moment, high-five, or sensory break at a time.
