Teacher-created for my own children, ages 10 and 13, to reduce wasting summer time on electronics!

This log will print 9 weeks to a single page per student! We have struggled with the best way to log efficiently, and this is the best shortened version so uploads don't take so long! The file contains 4 tabs at the bottom for 4 nine weeks of logging. It is a fully editable Google Sheet so you can change the dates, holidays, type of data collection, etc.

There are over 20 task cards for practicing/drilling the basics of the Distributive Property, including positive and negative integers, 2-3 terms inside the parentheses, may need further simplifying. I will be using with my resource class for extra practice on their white board desks or as a written activity.

This is the powerpoint I have tweaked from year to year that gives a basic welcome to your homeroom class. It is editable so you will adjust for your needs. My main focus is that the classroom is run like a business and we talk about what their job is, what they wear, and how they are "paid." I use a simple ticket reward system where they collect individually and as rows (for bringing all supplies and having completed homework).

Solving systems of equations using the calculator. Students will use their calculator to find the window most appropriate to find the solution of the equations. Students will use the the TRACE button to find the closest solution to solve the seystem of equations.

I have used this for many years to help my students analyze their mistakes and earn credit back for corrections. This analysis goes one step further to allow students to truly reflect and learn from their mistakes!
