About the store
I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for a public school district in Central Illinois. My journey there started when I was an undergraduate student studying education. During that time, I worked as an in-home therapist using discrete trial instruction for a student with autism and fell in love with the field. I completed my B.S. in Special Education and worked as a special education teacher for 8 years before I became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and made the leap to clinical work. My clinical experiences include behavior analytic consultation in residential, day program, and public school settings as well as outpatient Applied Behavior Analysis therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Teaching style

I am extremely passionate about evidence-based practices for children with autism. I love using systematic approaches to help struggling learners and wish I would have understood more about the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to design better instructional interventions when I first started teaching.
