Optimistic

This is a creative writing assignment you can use and adapt to meet any grade level. Students are asked to reflect on their school year in different ways rather than writing in paragraph form.

I used this bookmark recap for students to recall information from a few chapters of "The Time Keeper" as a bell ringer/before reading strategy. The triangle is used for its points: one connection to their own life, one prediction the student has and one question the student is wondering about. This can be adapted for any chapter :)

This syllabus was used for my learning support reading class that utilized the 5 W's; who, what, where, and when.

I use this biweekly student check as a quick check in with regular education teachers to see how my special education students are doing in the general education curriculum. Teachers seem to really enjoy this because it is quick and addresses immediate concerns.
