This is a PowerPoint designed to use as a bell ringer or initial motivation for students in the first 5/10 minutes of class. Topics covered includes: parts of speech, comprehension, figurative language, punctuation, transition words, library knowledge, textbook features, capitalization and much more!
This powepoint is used in conjunction with handouts for this novel also sold in my shop. The powerpoint consists of vocabulary by chapters (with defintions), guided reading questions by chapter and prediction charts by chapter to be used for the novel "A Dog's Purpose". I love teaching and encouraging my students to be lifelong learners and readers! Growing up, I never had a teacher that made reading fun and exciting for me, so my goal is to be that teacher for my students.
