Bisectors Exploration, Notes, Practice

Created by

Use these bundled Bisectors (segment and angle) products over 1-2 days to have students explore bisectors then solidify their understanding through notes and practice. In my classroom I start with the exploration one day and then the next day I provide direct instruction through the notes then allow students to practice the concepts.

This practice page includes 6 problems at 3 different levels. There are 3 segment bisector problems and 3 angle bisector problems. The 3 different levels are shrimp (level 1/the lowest level of difficulty), kiwi bird (level 2/medium level of difficulty) and dragon (level 3/highest level of difficulty). 4 of the problems include setting up and solving algebraic equations. In my own classroom, I use this resource directly after " Bisectors Notes."

About the store

Experience

I have been teaching public school high school mathematics for six years. In those 6 years, I have taught geometry and algebra 2. As an undergraduate student, I taught one year of pre-calculus at a private school. All of my years teaching have been in Kentucky.

Teaching style

I love to use inquiry, technology, and hands-on methods in teaching. I think the visual quality and amount of content on a page are important for students cognitively.
