This resource targets the RL.7 standard--using the illustrations to describe the characters. In this resource, students will create an Instagram post that illustrates a character from a story they've read. After the picture is complete, they will add a caption to describe the character's traits. A word bank is available for both positive and negative traits, as well as a version without a word bank for differentiation. I created this resource to be used in a variety of ways.
