Original Educator

A simple matching game to reinforce the use of tens and ones. Simply print the cards on colored construction paper (so you can't see through them) and turn them over in an array. Players take turns trying to match the cards. When a match is made, the player gets to keep the cards. The player with the most cards at the end is the winner!

This game makes a great center! In this game, students take a look at the given sets to figure out the mystery number. They must figure out how many tens and ones there are, and then what the whole number is. This game partners very well with teachers and students using Digi Blocks!
