Experience
I have been teaching science since 2018. I currently teach virtual middle school general science to 6-8 grades. In the past I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade general science, 8th grade GT/advanced science, 9th grade Earth science, 9th grade physical science, and 10th grade life science.
Teaching style
My teaching style consists of project-based instruction, 5E lessons, and outdoor lessons. I like to see students getting up and interacting with science. My goal is to have students explain scientific phenomena coherently and relate them to their life. Hopefully, they also leave my class loving science!
My own education history
I obtained a BA in Biology from UCCS in May 2018. I am working on a Master of Science Education from CSU.
