About the store

I have spent 23 years working as a Science teacher then as a physical educator. I have a Master's degree in Special Education and a Doctorate degree in Education. I have worked as a certified athletic trainer for several prominent programs across Georgia. Several years ago I worked with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Division in creating an objectives based STEAM (Science, Technology Engineering and Math) curricular unit. I wish to share the unit. The unit is complete with hands on lessons divided into subject area and grade level (Biology, Earth Systems, Physics, Physical Education and Art). The Unit also has the new Georgia Science Standards and applicable resources.

This is an incredible 52 slide presentation complete with unique graphics/pictures, examples, small/large group activities, discussions and even a quiz/test at the end. This unit may last from a few classes all the way up to a month. Blind Catfish is a fun, engaging lesson/activity that covers habitats and adaptations. In this neat lesson/activity, children can watch the presentation and discuss what adaptations are and how they help an organism survive. Blind Bat Lesson/Activity

This is an active, engaging lesson that I created for all elementary levels. I posted the NGSS standards and since I am in Georgia, I can easily furnish the GA standards as well.
