Teaching style

High expectations, and if students meet them, I give them freedom and choice. I utilize flexible seating. The most important thing I can teach students is that someone loves and believes in them, if I can teach them that I will have done my job. I also have a passion for education in general especially teaching literacy to those with disabilities or learning English as a second language.

My own education history

Masters Degree in Education. Half a Masters Degree in Teaching English as a second language - was enough to get me a teacher certificate. I also student taught at a Montessori school, and love to incorporate those ideas.
