Experience
I student taught in 5th Grade. Then I taught Kindergarten for 1 year. No major adjustment between those two grades! Then I moved to Second Grade and have loved teaching that grade for the last 10 years.
Teaching style
Anything that works! I believe that my teaching style has to be flexible enough to accomodate all of the learning styles in my classroom. I differentiate my lessons for kids on all levels and try to mix-up my presentation of lessons. I believe in a great hook to interest the kids immediately and then usually have hands-on activities to make the content come to life.

I have been blessed with an amazing husband, two fantastic kids and 3 rescue dogs. What more do you need? Oh, I almost forgot ... I also thank God for each and every day after fighting Breast Cancer and winning!
