About the store
I LOVE math and I believe that all math is beautiful. My favorite hashtag is #beautifulmath. Whew - that moment when you finish a challenging problem and you look back at all the math - that is a #beautifulmath moment. I don't believe you have to have a real-world application to find joy in math - it is simply awesome by itself! I have over sixteen years of experience as a secondary mathematics teacher. I have also worked as an academically or intellectually gifted teacher.

Experience

I LOVE math and I believe that all math is beautiful. My favorite hashtag is #beautifulmath. Whew - that moment when you finish a challenging problem and you look back at all the math - that is a #beautifulmath moment. I don't believe you have to have a real-world application to find joy in math - it is simply awesome by itself! I have over sixteen years of experience as a secondary mathematics teacher. Teaching style

I like to engage my students in rigorous activities that require them to think critically. My classroom is an environment where everyone is asked to bring their best self each day. We also do not raise hands - we just have a conversation! We also LOVE a mistake and believe that making them is absolutely okay while we are evolving and learning!! To quote one of my favorite presenters and teachers, Emily Myers, I love a good "beautifully wrong" moment. <3
