Hello! My name is Lisa Miller and I'm excited that you have visited my store on TPT! The resources I have created come from over 30 years of experience teaching mathematics in high school. I hope you enjoy these resources. They were made with love from me to you.

The resources I create are based on the types of resources I would like to have had as a teacher. For example, multiple versions of the same activity and activities that are made for cooperative learning with groups of various sizes. Additionally the cooperative learning resources are designed to give each person their own role so students work together to accomplish a goal, yet are compelled to do their own work.

I have been teaching for over 30 years. I taught in Alabama, Georgia, Virginia, and currently I am teaching in Pennsylvania. In the year 2000 I passed my National Board Certification, though I did not renew it in 2010. I also spent 4 years as a special education teacher in Georgia. That experience opened my eyes to the real purpose of differentiated instruction and how important it is to get to know your students well as individuals.

When I taught in Alabama, I was one of the first teachers involved in the AMSTI (Alabama Math, Science, & Technology Initiative). I also served two years as President of the Alabama Council of Teachers of Mathematics. In I toured the country with the Federal Department of Education's program called "Teacher To Teacher". In that program I ran a workshop showing teachers how to find interactive applications that were free to use on the Internet. This program is unfortunately no longer available. I have also obtained my Gifted Certification (in Georgia) and I'm a current member of the National Council for Teachers of Mathematics.
