About the store
I have been teaching in public education since 2005. My career began in Head Start and after 4 years I was given the opportunity to move up and teach 3rd grade science and social studies. I quickly realized that teaching reading and writing was my passion and I have been doing that ever since! I have since taught 5th, 6th, and 7th grade reading and writing and am currently an ELAR Instructional Coach/ Reading Specialist & Interventionist.

When students are familiar with STAAR question stems they are likely to do better on the test. I keep a flip chart handy so that I am quickly able to pull STAAR stems into classroom discussions or activities about what we are reading.
