I've worked as both a supplemental instructor and tutor. Most of my products are second-draft notes that I use when tutoring. Recently I have started working to make distance-learning friendly materials for biology courses to help teachers transition to online courses for COVID19.
This is a four page packet which covers basic trigonometry, particularly that needed for precalculus classes. The reviews and diagrams introduce the concept of radians, and the unit circle, not only explaining how to use them, but why we use them to impart a thorough understanding to students. The packet includes definitions of trig. functions, basic graphs of all six functions (along with domain and range) trigonometric identities, double angle formulas, half angle formulas, product to sum equa
This is a three page packet which is perfect for teaching, and reviewing logarithms. It covers the definition of a logarithm and natural logarithm, change of base formula, and the characteristics of logs. This packet not only shows how to expand and collapse logs, but it why we can manipulate them the way we do. Experience
I've worked as both a supplemental instructor and tutor. Most of my products are second-draft notes that I use when tutoring. Recently I have started working to make distance-learning friendly materials for biology courses to help teachers transition to online courses for COVID19.
My own education history
I studied molecular and cell biology with minors in chemistry and mathematics at Texas A&M University, and have committed to Stanford's molecular and cell physiology PhD program. I have three years experience working in research labs as an undergraduate or student technician.
Additional biographical information
Most of my products are second-draft notes that I use when tutoring. Being a student myself, I'm able to explain the materials in a way that is easier to grasp for fellow students than the materials in textbooks, or worksheets.
