A way to give students a grade and also have them self-assess from math workstations/rotations/centers! Students first self-assess by circling in pencil in each category what they think they deserve and then the teacher circles what he/she thinks that they should get. Each category is worth 25 points and with 4 categories the total comes to a 100. This document is completely editable and you could change it to whatever you like for your grading system!

This is a letter to students and is meant to include a couple of inexpensive "goodies" in a treat bag to go along with this letter. I used this for my students last year in second grade and they loved getting the treats and what each treat stood for.

This is what I have used for students to keep track of guided math center/workstation work. The students are different shapes depending on the level that they are. I differentiate all of the math centers and the students choose the activities that match the shape that they are.

This pop quiz is designed to make sure students understand what your expectations are for guided math. It also helps you as the teacher to make sure you explain every detail of what students should be doing when you are pulling small groups for guided math. After I go over all procedures with my students on guided math I give them this pop quiz to see if I need to explain something in more detail. My guided math time runs much more smoothly thanks to this quiz for my students!

This product is designed as a tool to grade math or literacy centers using a rubric with points. Recommended for grades 3-8 but may be modified for lower grades.
