About the store
Since I was young, teaching has always been my passion. I went to school at Brigham Young University Provo to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. I took a break for 2 separate semesters to teach English in an orphanage for Haiti. This was a life changing experience for me and reinforced how passionate I was about education. I finished my schooling at BYU and taught 4th grade for one year. After my first year, I received an offer to become the director of Pathways to English, a nonprofit organization that directly helped the orphanage in Haiti I volunteered in. Although I was torn because I LOVED being in the classroom, I also loved those kids in Haiti! Now, I am the director of Pathways to English. Part of my position includes creating supplementary materials for the children in Haiti. These are the materials sold on my TPT store. 100% of the profits from this TPT store go to Pathways to English and the education and basic needs of the kids in Haiti.
