DESCRIPTION Here is a fun, hands-on, and ready-to-go activity to learn about the history and traditions of Groundhog Day! Did you know that Groundhog Day was first celebrated in 1887 in Punxsutawney, PA? Did you know Phil is taken out of his burrow at exactly 7:25am each year on February 2nd? This activity gives younger students practice in sequencing a story and counting 1-7. However, this activity would be fun and informative for older students too. This resource is a perfect addition for any
