Additional biographical information

Paula Montgomery Rodney was born and raised in Huntsville, AL. She graduated from Spelman College with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mathematics and a minor in Creative Writing. She was a NASA WISE scholar (Women in Science and Engineering). She is proud alumni of Teach for America and a founding mathematics instructor at KIPP: Houston High School. She has also worked as an Educational Curriculum Specialist at National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)/ Marshall Space Flight Center. She was the project manager for NASA educational projects such as Field Trip to the Moon with the American Museum of Natural History ; Lunar-nautics, Discovery Place Museum; and Human Exploration Project (HEP) with International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEA).
