Experience

I've taught for 12 years in the public school system. I've mostly taught first grade and some Pre-k classes. I also have taught second and third grade.

Teaching style

I teach to the three major learning styles: visual, tactile, and audio. My favorite way to teach is in small learning groups. I like to put a modern spin on things and flow with the ever changing educational world.

My own education history

I have a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Elementary Education. I also have a Master's Degree in Divergent Learning. I hold a Pre-K and Kindergarten certification.

Additional biographical information

I grew up in the small town of Blackville, South Carolina. I Taught in the Elementary school of Aiken, SC for 9 years. I now live in Mississippi and have been here teaching going on 4 years now. I'm married to my wonder husband Derek. We have a great little toy poodle named, Peanut! I love teaching the little ones.
