Rectangle Challenge
Rectangle Challenge is an activity for your math center. Contents:1 rectangle 10 T-shaped pieces: blue, red and yellow NB: Laminate and cut out pages. Challenge:Each student has 1 rectangle and 10 T-shaped pieces blue or red or yellow. Students must place the 10 T-shaped pieces on their rectangle. Each piece must cover 4 squares of the rectangle. Overlapping T-shaped pieces not allowed. Hint: Rotate pieces. Students then compare their answers and explain why so many configurations are possible.
