This unit is created for a 6-7 week plan. It includes a day by day schedule and activities that supplement the novel.

Rubric and Lesson for a Socratic Seminar
Teacher reviews the Socratic Seminar rules from rubric while students listen. Students sit in a circle and only speaks when they have the soft stuffed animal or talk piece. No one should be interrupted and must only voice their own opinion in response to the question only. Questions may change depending on topic.
