This will help students discover whether or not a number is prime or composite using arrays and factors. After they look at two numbers, they will try to find a prime number and a composite number on their own.
Every year, I read "First Day Jitters" by Julie Danneberg on the first day of school. After, I have the students reflect on their feelings on the first day of school. Since we're doing Distance Learning this year, I made a Google Slides worksheet for them (instead of the usual worksheet I print out). Enjoy!
*UPDATED with First Name and Last Name question* At the beginning of each year, I like to play "2 Truths & A Lie" with my students. Since we'll be Distance Learning this year, I turned our worksheet into a Google Form! Easy to use -- all the student responses will be put into a Google Sheet for you to read and have the kids guess.
This is the newsletter I send to my parents and families every week. I save the PPTX as a PDF and send it out via their emails/ClassDojo/whichever online communication platform you use! You can edit the box titles, dates, email, etc. I just like the rainbow pastel in the background. :D There are boxes for: This Week's Learning, Announcements, Tip of the Week, & Parent Resources Font by TGG Teaches Third in Georgia Thanks & review when you can!
