Students become familiar with the language involved in statistics and probability. Use the coloured whole class lesson to sort situations into categories (certain, likely, unlikely and impossible). Students can then do the task independently with the black and white worksheet. Use the language posters to brainstorm a variety of situations that are certain/ likely / unlikely or impossible. A simple, low prep activity to introduce probability to students. Enjoy :)
