Bienvenue! 👋 I’m Marie, creator of Petit Francophone, where you’ll find joyful, beginner-friendly French teaching resources for kids. I create French lesson plans, curriculum units, printables, worksheets, illustrated stories, flashcards, and classroom activities designed for FSL (Core French, Extended French, Immersion) programs and homeschool families.
My resources are ideal for Preschool, PreK, Kindergarten, Maternelle, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, and the early years of Primaire. They can also be adapted for beginner French learners in Grades 4 and 5. Teaching style
Playful, visual, and hands-on. My resources use a play-based, vocabulary-building approach designed for beginners, FSL classes, and homeschool families, with lesson plans and curriculum that make French learning easy and fun.

My own education history
Training in linguistics, Teaching French as a Foreign/Second Language (FLE), and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) to adults. I combine this academic foundation with hands-on experience creating bilingual French learning resources for children, families, and classrooms.
Additional biographical information
I teach French and lead French-language activities including music, crafts, literacy, and storytelling in multiple communities. I also design lesson plans and create engaging French learning curriculum that teachers and homeschool families can use to make language learning simple and enjoyable.
