A cupcake themed activity to allow students to practice moving from one decade to another. Students cover the cupcake graphic with the missing number in the sequence. For example, if students would have the sequence 28, 29, __, 31, they would cover the blank space with the number 30. Decades 10 through 40 included in the activity.

Formative assessment to be used with a multiplication unit. Questions include vocabulary terms, group-group size-total thinking tool questions, and computation facts.
