This is a letter to parents to give them information about their child's Benchmark Assessment Level (BAS). It tells them where their child is currently and where they should be for a specific time of the school year. It provides parents with suggestions to help them help their children's progress with their reading skills. It also has a book list to help parents choose "just right" books for their child.
