This 11 page plan is a great project after completing the study of a play or novel and would be great as a culminating exercise for the year. It helps students to assimilate the important aspects of the work. The file is .docx so that you may make changes to suit your classroom. The project as written takes between 3 and 4 weeks to complete, depending on the level of sophistication of the students and the manner in which you set up the presentations. AP Language Essays Overview PowerPoint
This PowerPoint is an introduction/overview designed to help Advanced Placement Language students focus on the key points for the three essays on the test--Synthesis, Argument, and Rhetorical Analysis. The PowerPoint has a formula for each essay to make it easier to remember the parts, key points for the essay type, and an annotated sample paragraph with the parts from the formula marked.
