About the store

Experience

I have taught in many grades in my twenty years of experience, but I truly found my place in First Grade. I taught kindergarten for twelve years, but moved up to first grade in the last few years. I love the energy and enthusiasm that only comes with the beginning learners.

Teaching style

I am a believer in guided math and guided reading. With that, I love small group settings and learning through play and hands on activities. I find that interactive journals and hands on learning help my students understand the skills more throughly.
