About the store
I am a grandmother, illustrator and a passionate phonics advocate who taught all my own children to read using a systematic phonics approach. When my daughter was 6yrs old she had the reading and comprehension of a much older child, which convinced me of the power of explicit phonics instruction. Years ago I created a phonics website which was later purchased by a phonics teacher in the United States (and it is still active!). Today i am enjoying teaching my grandchildren and love creating the hands-on, self checking resources I wish every parent, grandparent and teacher had access to. As my grandchildren grow and learn, I’ll continue adding new resources and ideas to this store. Thank you for stopping by!
