Teaching style

I use fun, hands-on, and creative ways to teach English through phonics using the Orton-Gillingham approach. I incorporate grade-appropriate visuals, photos, and videos to keep lessons engaging and meaningful for multilingual learners. I typically work with small groups of around 5 students, but sometimes support up to 15, tailoring instruction to meet the diverse language and literacy needs of each group. My goal is always to build confidence and strong foundational skills while keeping learning enjoyable!

My own education history

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and my Master’s in Childhood Education (Grades 1–6) from Brooklyn College. Later, I continued my education at Touro College, where I earned my Advanced Certificate in TESOL (Grades K–12). I currently teach under my TESOL license and am also certified in Common Branch.
