I was born in Royal Oak, Michigan in 1972. I began studying art formally at a very young age. I participated in programs for school aged children at Wayne State University, the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center, and College for Creative Studies. As the grandchild of a famous fiber artist and painter, my family supported my growth as an artist.
My work has been exhibited in a variety of galleries and juried art shows, including Form and Function Gallery, The Art Loft, Paint Creek Center for the Arts, The Wood Gallery, The Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center, Hatch Gallery, The Our Town Exhibition, and the Michigan Fine Arts Competition.
The work I create consists of mixed pieces and installations that make a unique statement about the lived experience. I use a combination of Adobe Photoshop, powder pigments and acrylic medium. The style of a unique blend of traditional techniques and new media.
My life has been dedicated to art: studying, practicing and instructing. I am currently teach Computer Graphics, Drawing and Innovation Learning at the high school level.
