The Contest at Mount Carmel is a play about the exciting drama between Elijah and King Ahab. It can be used anytime throughout the year, but also has an added section to adapt it as a Christmas program. The Christmas Journey, a Bible play about the Christmas story includes props, characters and dialogue for a play about the birth of Jesus. There are 12 different parts for children. Your class will enjoy learning about dialogue and drama as they perform this play for their peers or parents.
These silly sentences give examples of subjects and predicates. Students will cut apart the strips between the subject and predicate and rearrange them to make new silly sentences. They will then label the subject and predicate of their new sentence. They can read them aloud for a good laugh.
