Here are some clip art images that can be cut out and taped on to dice for Rock, Paper, Scissors. I play many games that involve Rock, Paper, Scissors and dice with these images on them make it easier for some students to be fully included. Some students have a difficult time making the hand gestures or processing the action quick enough, these help make it possible. Just cut them out and tape to a foam die.

Experience

Over 17 years experience as an Elementary Physical Educator and Assistant Principal. I have worked as a Lead Teacher in my district for 5 years and a mentor teacher. Over 20 years experience in the fitness industry as a coach and certified personal trainer. Inclusive sports equipment and adapted sports specialist.

Teaching style

I believe that ALL students can achieve their goals. Some may take a little longer and others may need modifications or adaptations, but ALL students can be successful! I work hard to encourage and coach my students through each obstacle they face.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Professionally, I have presented at various Physical Education conferences and district staff trainings. I have received an "Above & Beyond" award from our Superintendent and BOE. I have been awarded over half a dozen grants and have been honored to be a Lead Teacher and mentor teacher for our district. Personally, I have competed regionally and nationally in Strongman competitions and have placed 1st-3rd in over a dozen competitions. I have also competed in powerlifting and bodybuilding. I have completed my 2nd degree black belt training in Taekwondo with my son.

My own education history

I have completed two Masters degrees in Physical Education and Education Administration. I also hold additional concentrations and certifications in Adapted Physical Education, Personal Training and Health & Wellness.
