This simple simulation of CRO (Cathode Ray Oscilloscope) can help students understand better the effect of adjusting gain setting and time-base setting of the CRO on the waveform (traces) shown on the screen.
Use some simple animation to illustrate to students how the size (magnitude) of resultant force of two component forces depends on the angle between the two component forces.
The size of the resultant force ranges from zero to the arithmetic sum of the sizes of the two component forces.
