The Great Pumpkin Rescue Mission is a Halloween themed escape room for your students! It is a fun way to have your students practice solving quadratic equations. Students can work individually or in teams to unlock the next section until they save Halloween. The Great Thanksgiving Escape is a fun way for your students to review logs and exponents! Students will follow Turkey Tina's story throughout the google form and have to help her survive from section to section. Each section is passcode protected and students need to solve problems and read clues to advance. Students will be expected to evaluate logs, expand/condense logs, and use compounded exponential functions to move throughout the virtual escape room.

The Great Santa Escape is a fun way for your students to review Algebra 1 topics! Students will follow Rudolph's story throughout the google form and have to help him find Santa from section to section. Each section is passcode protected and students need to solve problems and read clues to advance. Students will be determine whether lines are parallel/perpendicular, solve linear equations, use order of operations, write the equation of a line given two points, and graph lines.

I have taught every math course content from Pre-Algebra to Calculus II. In addition to teaching the common track courses, I have taught at the remedial level, the honors level, and the dual credit level.

Teaching style

It is my belief that students need a healthy mix of direct instruction and student centered learning. I always strive to have a fun activity accompany a less to mix up the monotony of a school day.

My own education history

I have a BS in Mathematics with a professional educators license and also a MS in Mathematics. I am currently pursing a computer science endorsement at the high school level.
