I have been a career educator since 2000. I have a multitude of experiences in teaching and administration, including at the central office level.
I began teaching in Michigan teaching Mathematics and Art at the middle and high school level. I have since then also spent nearly a half of a decade teaching across Alaska, primarily in small rural and remote environments, including native village schools.
I am currently teaching in a large high school (2000+ students) in Western Kansas.
I have been a Teacher, Lead Teacher/ Principal, Curriculum Director and Guidance/Careers Coordinator. I have taught in more traditional settings at both the Middle and High School levels, covering grades 5-12, as well as in multi-grade classroom settings, including a single teacher K-12 site off-grid in bush Alaska.
