Experience

I’ve spent nearly a decade in education, teaching everything from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus! During that time, I also served as Math Department Chair, supporting teachers, shaping curriculum, and helping students grow in confidence. With a degree and master’s in Mathematics Education, I now pour all that experience into creating clear, rigorous, classroom-ready resources that truly support both teachers and students!

Teaching style

My teaching style is built on clarity, encouragement, and strong structure! I love taking complex ideas and breaking them into meaningful, digestible steps that help students feel capable and confident. Every resource I create mirrors authentic AP-style thinking, saves teachers time, and gives students the practice they really need to succeed.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Some of my brightest teaching moments came from watching hesitant math learners step into challenging courses — even AP Calculus! — and discover that they could do it. I’ve celebrated breakthrough moments, AP pass scores, and heartfelt notes from students who finally believed in their own abilities. Those experiences inspire every resource I design! I also served as Department Chair of our mathematics department the last couople years of my career.

My own education history

I hold both a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education and a Master’s degree in Math Education, with extensive experience in secondary math, curriculum design, and AP instruction. My background helps ensure that every resource is purposeful, aligned, and teacher-approved.

Additional biographical information

Outside of teaching, I’m a lazy sourdough baker, a lover of all things mocha, and someone who will never turn down a good slice of cheesecake! When I’m not creating resources, you can usually find me chasing after my daughter as we prepare to welcome baby #2. Family life fuels so much of my creativity, and I’m grateful for the chance to design materials that support teachers while letting me soak up these sweet seasons at home.
