Excite your children with the "magic" of silent "e." This PowerPoint presentation will demonstrate how Magic "e" changes a CVC word. When Magic "e" appears, it "sends" its magic over one consonant to make the vowel say its own name. All vowels are marked to indicate whether they are long or short.
