August 2010 – Present: Regular Education Teacher: Florence School District One In addition to my regular teaching duties, I help our school’s morning show, created an automated matrix for analyzing test results, computerized our school’s math facts testing, and successfully implemented the “Flipped” method of teaching. August 2008 – September 2009: Writing Center: English Department, Francis Marion University While attending college full-time, I tutored students of various majors by teaching them how to write more effectively using proper grammar, word choice, etc. July 2007 – May 2008: Senior Administrative Assistant: Financial Assistance Dept. (Francis Marion University) Performed financial assistance presentations for students, parents, & teachers September 2004 – August 2006: Preprint Coordinator: Advertising Department, The Post and Courier (Charleston, SC) By acting as the liaison between the circulation, advertising, and production departments, I maintained over 13 million dollars’ worth of advertising preprints, ensuring that each shipment was received, scheduled, and distributed properly Advertising Sales Assistant: Advertising Department, The Post and Courier (Charleston, SC) Produced various reports, set up meetings, and created sales presentations for advertising clients September 2001 – October 2003 Graphics Operator: Production Department, WCSC-TV Channel 5 News (Charleston, SC) Produced graphical text for display on the evening news & Operated studio equipment

After working in media for several years, I decided to change my career and become a teacher. Now, I use what I learned in the communication industry (marketing, screencasting, graphics, etc.) to better deliver material to my students.
