This product was designed for use as a "Creation Station" math center. Students have to solve half of each equation, then draw the Base-Ten blocks to balance each side of the equation.
Most CUBES printable posters include the E standing for Evaluate. With the younger grades, I wanted the E to stand for Equation.
All other letters are the same:
C=Circle the numbers and change number words to numbers.
U=Underline the question.
B=Box the math action words and write the symbol that goes with them.
E= Equation! Write an equation for the problem.
S= Solve and check. Is your answer reasonable?

Teaching style
It is my opinion that if students don't know they are loved, they will not learn, so that is my first and foremost priority. Next, I like to infuse fun, technology, color, and laughter into my classroom.
