About the store

Experience

I have taught fourth grade for seven years. In that time period, I have taught Social Studies, Science, Math, and Language Arts. During that time, I have received LETRS training in the Science of Reading in addition to receiving a masters in reading.

Teaching style

I love using both projects and technology in my classroom if possible. Technology can be used to reinforce and extend learning for my students. For example, I love using Google Earth with my students to really have a chance to see different places around the world. Projects can help student see how learning can incorporate different subject areas.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My own education history

I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in 2016 in Middle Childhood Education. I received my Master's Degree in Reading in 2020. Lastly, I received my Generalist Certification in 2021.

Additional biographical information

Hello! My name is Pam and I run "Bear-y Fun in Fourth". I teach fourth grade in Ohio and love incorporate a variety of learning into my own classroom, which I enjoy including in my products. I've taught a wide variety of students, which has taught me the true importance of differentiation. Because of that, I try to make sure many of my products either are differentiated (through read-aloud or different versions) or easily can be for teachers. I live with my husband and my one year old toddler, who both love going on adventures. Thank you for reading! :)
